Fiber optic adapters (also known as Fiber couplers, Fiber Adapter ) are designed to connect two optical cables or connectors together. They have a single fiber connector (simplex), dual fiber connector (duplex) or sometimes four fiber connector (quad) versions.
This type of 4 Core LC metal adapter is able to connect four LC connectors to another four LC connectors at the same time. It is suitable for multi core patch cords, especially fan out and ribbon patch cables.
